NDB Stockbrokers says to BUY VPEL
Sep 02, 2013 (SLBO) - NDB Stockbrokers (NDBS) had recently recommended 'BUY' signal for Vallibel Power Erathna PLC (VPEL). Accordingly due to high rainfall and revised tariff structure the company has performed exceedingly well in FY13/14Q1 recording a 380% YoY profit growth.
With high rainfall continuing into FY13/14Q2 the company is expected to perform well in the short run. As no new projects are in the pipeline, a higher dividend payout of around 80% is possible as in the past. NDBS expect dividend yield to be close to 10% at the current share price.
