Sri Lanka's Primary Food and Hospitality Competition and Show
Aug 08, 2013 (SLBO) - The 15th edition of Sri Lanka's primary food and hospitality competition and show - Culinary Art 2013, the countries most sought after food and hospitality trade show 2013, ended at BMICH Exhibition Centre last week end.
The event organized by Chefs Guild of Lanka showcased products and services in raw materials to finished food products and equipment.
The Chairman of the Chefs Guild of Sri Lanka, Gerard Mendis said that the show was one of the biggest culinary shows in Asia.
"Culinary Art's is the biggest specialized Hotel Catering and Food Trade Exhibition in Sri Lanka targeting professionals of the hospitality industry.
By popular demand, this event has established itself and crated a special place in the minds of industry professionals as a premier meeting place to network and showcase a widespread of products and services that range from raw material to equipment to the finished food product."
In view of the Culinary Olympics in 2016, two new categories have been included and these are a vegetarian three-course menu and Tapas Finger food and Buffet Platter.
Litro Gas continued its long standing relationship being the principal energy partner for all its' major culinary event again.
Minister of Economic Development, Basil Rajapaksa was the Chief Guest at the event.
