Sri Lanka: Standard Chartered Bank's Colombo 03 property up for sale
Jul 04, 2013 (SLBO) - Sri Lankan unit of Standard Chartered Bank's Colombo 03 branch property had recently put up for sale.In a public notice the official Real Estate Broker handling the sale - Jones Lang LaSalle says that the successfull purchaser will be identified through bidding process.
Accordingly submission of bids can only be made on or before 26th August, 2013, on specific bid documents obtained from the representatives of Jones Lang LaSalle's Sri Lankan branch at Level 34, East Tower, World Trade Centre,Echelon Square, Colombo 01.
Currently the property is owned by Standard Chartered Bank's Sri Lankan unit and used by the bank.Further the notice says that with approval the property could be suitable for retail, residential and or office uses.The property has two main road frontages - one from Queens Road and the other from R.A.De Me Mawatha, Colombo 03.
