Dialog and Janashakthi launch breakthrough innovation in worldwide overseas travel insurance


$50,000 Hospitalisation and $25,000 Accidental Death Cover for just Rs. 175/- a day

Jun 14, 2013 (SLBO) - Dialog Axiata PLC and Janashakthi Insurance, the leading trendsetters and innovators in their respective fields have taken both Sri Lanka's mobile and insurance industries by storm with their latest joint product, "Worldwide Travel Insurance", providing global travel coverage for just Rs.175/- a day. Dialog's subscriber base, which is in excess of 7.8 million, can now purchase this unique worldwide travel insurance of USD 50,000 Hospitalisation and USD 25,000 Accidental Death and Total Permanent Disability covers through their Dialog mobile phones.

Dialog subscribers can simply dial #103#, at any time before their trip to subscribe to the product for their stay overseas. Alternatively, customers can activate the package by visiting any Dialog service centre with their passport.

This product, which can be bought by anyone or for anyone above 6 months and below 60 years of age is valid worldwide, including Canada and the USA, and also includes covers for the loss of passport and baggage.
