Joined Hands in Re-awakening the North
May 31, 2013 (SLBO) - National Agribusiness Council (NAC) and the USAID funded Practical Action signed a MOU recently at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce for "Ag Biz North" Exhibition.
The main objective to enter for a MOU is to work as one unit to organize the Ag Biz North Exhibition to bring modern agriculture technologies for the farmers of the North and to create a platform to engage all stakeholders of the agribusiness chain.
The MOU was signed by Rohitha Nanayakkara, Secretary, NAC and Vishaka Hidellage, Country Director, Practical Action.
The exhibition will be held on 26th & 27th July 2013 at the Central College Grounds, Kilinochchi under the theme "Re-awakening North". The exhibition will comprise more than 60 stalls covering agriculture, fisheries, live stock and process food sectors.
