Royal College and IEARN conduct Project Based Learning Workshop

May 20, 2013 (SLBO) - Royal College in collaboration with International Education And Resource Network (IEARN) has conducted several on-line project based workshops during the past few years.

Among them were projects such as Family History, Friends Book, My Country, Bullying, Teddy Bear, World Heritage project, My Hero and National Crops. These projects have greatly helped children to gain international exposure and IT and presentation skills.

This year's workshop will be held on Friday 31 May 2013 at the Royal College Skill's Centre from 9.00 am to 12.30 p.m. It will be held under the distinguished patronage of Chris Elms, the Press and Information Officer of the US Embassy.

Udara Soyza, a founder member as a student of Royal College and currently Humanitarian Correspondent with United Nations will address the students and discuss the great heights a student can reach through the experience gained by being involved in their respective projects.

During these workshops, students will be participating in two key projects - UNESCO World Heritage and Intercultural Citizenship - thereby helping them to broaden their horizons and empowering them to be stronger citizens of the world.
