Niche CC joins hands with GO Communications Group


Mar 14, 2013 (SLBO) - GO Communications Group, which maintains a strong regional presence as one of the biggest independent PR networks in Asia, has announced its partnership with Niche Corporate Communications, one of the first PR agencies in Sri Lanka, founded by Nayomini Ratnayake Weerasooriya.

Michael de Kretser CEO of GO Communications Group, voted Malaysia's best PR agency 2009-2012, needs no introductions in the regional field of Public Relations; known as the doyen of PR in Australia and Asia, he is recognized as a highly respected PR professional throughout the region. From the Singapore Girl legacy to the lush tropical flavor of Malaysia's famous water park the Sunway Lagoon, Michael has created some of the best- known PR campaigns in Asia.

Accompanying him in Colombo is the Chairman of GO Communications Group, Bob Chua.

Niche Corporate Communications is one of Sri Lanka's pioneering PR agencies founded in 1995 by Nayomini Ratnayake Weerasooriya. Nayomini is widely reognised as a senior journalist, columnist and Founder Editor of Satyn, one of the first ever women's magazines launched in 1998. Niche CC has handled PR for some of Sri Lanka's leading brands and corporates since inception. The company joins the GO Communications network that has already established a firm foot- hold in Asia throughout countries such as Malaysia, Cambodia, and Thailand, at a time when this part of Asia is ready to enter a new phase in Public Relations.
