Cairn explains progress in Mannar Basin Oil Drilling
Dec 20, 2011 (SLBO) - Officials from Cairn India the parent entity of Cairn Lanka (Pvt) Ltd met Petroleum Industry and Resources Minister Susil Premajayantha on Monday the 19 December and held a special discussion at the Ministry of Petroleum Industries Resources.
The only company involved in island nation's frontier petroleum region Mannar Basin; Cairn Lanka recently concluded the drilling and exploration activities of its third well and had informed the minster on the latest developments of its activities on oil and gas exploration.
The Cairn delegation who met Minister Premajayantha were led by Chief Executive Officer of Cairn India Rahul Dhir and Director Exploration David Ginger.
